Our little remodeling project...the before.

Josh and I bought our house in summer of 2010.  We were crazy about the house from the beginning...but as in all older homes, there were a few things we wanted to change.  So, after 18 months in the house, we dove head first into a major remodeling project.

It's kind of hard to explain the layout of our house.  I'm no architect but I would describe it as a unique version of a cape cod style house.  One "unique" part of the house would be the original entryway.  You walked in the front door and ran into a wall.  Literally, 4 feet in front of you was this wall.  On the other side of this wall was a teeny tiny nasty bathroom and then a den.  To get to these rooms, however, one had to walk through the living room, dining room and around through the kitchen.  So, when we decided to redo the bathroom, we decided to open up the entryway and essentially the entire house.

Let the remodeling chaos began...
