B and I went to our first "Toddler Time" nature hour at Nahant Marsh along the Mississippi River. The theme was birds, a topic B is super interested in...probably because the rest of the family are bird enthusiasts! We got to hear a story about birdwatching, go for a hike to find birds and collect nesting material then make our own nests. The craft was a bit over his head but all the rest he LOVED. Not sure he learned much - as I said, we kinda push birding at home - but it was so much fun to watch him get so excited and involved. His favorite part was looking at all the turtles and snakes in the nature center.
