Well, our owl finally decided to show himself. We've been listening to him (and his friend) every night for the whole winter and frequently for the past 3 years. The other night, he swooped through the front yard and landed on an old telephone pole behind the house. In the DAYTIME at like 6:30pm. It was seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen. B got to see him too. He was pretty impressed. Just too bad the pictures didn't turn out better. Josh was sneaking through the backyard in his socks trying to get close enough for a good closeup...needless to say, he couldn't stay real still in soaking wet socks and freezing cold feet!
