Maybe it's because my father is a park ranger or maybe because I was raised to be respectful of history and nature, but I am an ardent believer in the "leave no trace" philosophy. So I was pleased to see this park service sign...and even more pleased when a fellow visitor chewed out a couple kids who were carving their initials into a tree!
